Video Review: The Merciless II w/ @messybookshelf

I know I have already done a review for the Merciless II by Danielle Vega, but after my friend/ coworker read her advanced copy and loved it just as much as I did we knew we had to do a video together for this book.
 
There was so much to talk about for The Merciless II! We begin with a small recapping of the first book, The Merciless, then we go on to explain what the Merciless II is about in our own words and I imagine most of you will stop the video there. After that, we do mention that we will be talking about spoilers from The Merciless II including the insane plot twist ending because it completely blew our minds and was something we needed to discuss.

This was my first time ever doing a video blog and even though I do prefer my written ones, I will be guest starring on the Messybookshelf's videos again later this summer or early fall for anther duel advanced copy book review!

Wonderland: The Queen of Hearts vs. Red Queen

One of my biggest pet peeves regarding Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is the common confusion with The Queen of Hearts and Red Queen. Between the 1951 Disney version as well as the Disney live action movies, they confuse many characteristics and as much as I love all the movies it is a little annoying.   Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is my favorite book and have read it several times over the years. However I've actually once read Through the Looking Glass twice, and my memory on it isn't as good as the first story.
